Im Februar 2020 hat das Institut für Volkswirtschaftslehre den Verein ECON Alumni UZH gegründet. Der Verein bietet den Alumni des Instituts die Möglichkeit, auch nach dem Studium, von der besonderen Stellung ihrer Alma Mater zu profitieren.

During the coronavirus-related switch to digital teaching, the primary goal of the Faculty of Business, Economic and Informatics at UZH was to enable students to complete their semes-ter on time and to hold all examinations online on the planned date. With the first, successful-ly completed online examination week and 5539 examinations taken so far, the biggest mile-stone has been reached - thanks to careful preparation of everyone involved.

Anikó Hannák joined our Faculty at the beginning of January 2020 as Assistant Professor in the Social Computing Group. Her primary research interests is computer-based social sciences, especially the co-evolution of online systems and their users. In the introductory interview she explains her motivation to join the University of Zurich and what she would like to convey to the students.
